Give us Links!

We want your links! Leave your suggested links in the comment section so we can add them to the blog. Ferratio! is specifically interested in links that will provide the following information: legal/contractual information for new writers, plagiarism and other legal responsibilities of writers, genre trends and speculation, industry warnings and alerts, forums and message boards for the writing community, and blogs of writers, agents, and/or editors. We do not want links outside of these guidelines.

We will be inviting guest bloggers to post on pre-determined topic sweeps. If you are interested in blogging on a specific topic, please contact us. At this time, we are not interested in any topics having to do with the craft of writing itself--only the business end of the profession. We have no problems with linking to writers' personal blogs or websites.

Links. Right. How about the origianl Miss Snark. I know she doesn't add new posts, but she covers everything you could think of. Also Ann and Victoria's Writer Beware blog and maybe a few agent's who help folks like Nathan Bransford and Janet Reid. I can dig up links later. I'm just brainstorming.

I'm in, too. I sent you a PM, but not sure you saw it.

Other than Mary's suggestions, what about the link to Robert Sawyer's 6 Rules?

And, maybe blog links to those who are part of the 'we' of Ferratio?

This is a blog about ferrets?

And we're sexy?

Cool.

Here's a link, not sure if this is or isn't what you're looking for.

Yes, Ed. This is indeed about sexy, little black-footed ferrets and...uh...other stuff too.

More specifically, the business of writing.

A few additional ones I've got sitting in the bookmarks list:

Author's Guild (https://www.authorsguild.org)
Backspace (http://www.bksp.org)
Agent Query (http://www.agentquery.com)
Literary Market Place (http://www.literarymarketplace.com/lmp/us/index_us.asp)
Publishers Marketplace (http://www.publishersmarketplace.com)

And I'd be here all day if I gave you all the links I have specific to speculative fiction...

You could add a link to my blog, if you like... it does seem to be rather quiet here, so I would probably fit right in.

Ha! That's the best "little story" I've read in a long time. I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys do with this; there's tons of potential. And I'll pop back in with a link if I think of one!
